Good News for HBA & MBF (BUPA) members!

I was just checking some links and happened to notice that the HiCAPS participating funds list for Remedial Massage was updated in March 2010 and now includes HBA and MBF!
This means that HBA & MBF members can now finally claim their private health fund rebate on the spot via HiCAPS!
It’s taken a while (3.5 years!) but I’m sure members of these funds will be very pleased that they finally have the convenience of on the spot claims.

Comfort From The Cold

We’re half way into April and the weather is certainly starting to feel a bit chilly!

With the onset of cooler weather this week, Armadale Remedial Massage has been transitioning into winter mode.
The towel warmer & the hot stone equipment have been brought out of summer hiatus. The oil heater is on & warming up the towels between sessions. The electric blanket is on the table & ready to be switched on (or off) at any moment, as is the fan heater, to defrost you from the cold outside and to keep you warm and toasty.

2009 Annual Leave

I will be unavailable from Wednesday, 30th September through to Tuesday 6th October. I will return to the office on Wednesday, 7th October. I will have some access to the internet while I am away, so feel free to email me if you have any enquiries.

LOMI LOMI

In late September, Winsome spent four days in Sydney attending a Lomi Lomi intensive workshop with Carrie Rowell, a visiting instructor from the USA. Lomi Lomi is the traditional Hawaiian style of Body Work and is a profoundly relaxing and uplifting form of massage.

HiCAPS

As of 1st April 2009, we are pleased to offer HiCAPS facility which allows people with the appropriate private health insurance to claim their rebate on the spot. Please note that not all Insurance companies are linked to the HiCAPS system for Remedial Massage yet, so if your provider is NOT linked for Remedial Massage, you will have to process your claim manually either via phone, internet or visiting an office of your insurer.
