Winsome has had a strong interest in complementary medicine since she was a teenager, but it was attending a class in infant massage with her daughter in early 1994 that really ignited a passion for massage. Infant massage is an amazing experience, and such a delightful way of bonding with, caring for and getting to know your baby. In 2001, Winsome did another short course in massage to learn more about massaging family and friends. It was at this time that someone remarked, “you know, you could make a living doing this”. What a fabulous idea! And so Winsome left her previous world of IT, gained her Diploma of Health Science (Massage) and has never looked back.
Winsome’s daughter turned 14 in early 2008, and still loves being massaged.
